Earth And Sky confirmed she’s a progressive filly winning in authoritative style under Ben Curtis at Kempton. She is thriving both mentally and physically. Plans are still undecided however it’s quite possible she could head for a Fillies’ Handicap back over course and distance in a fortnight's time. All credit must go to her owners the Niarchos Family, who allowed me to persevere with her.

Earth And Sky has been a star for us since dropping in trip. She has won commandingly twice at Kempton and bids for the Hat Trick tonight. A drop to seven furlongs shouldn’t be a problem and I am delighted with the form she’s in.
Strawberry Jack has been another consistent horse for us of late. He’s a big strong type that will only improve through next season. I was delighted with Amazing News debut at Wolverhampton last week. He’s sure to give his owners some fun in 2020.

Strawberry Jack defied a nice break by winning impressively at Chelmsford under Ben Curtis. Having been so consistent earlier in the year, he had excuses on his last couple of starts. The handicapper subsequently dropped him a few pounds giving him an opportunity to run back in a 0-75, which he duly took advantage of. He’s a big strong horse that will continue to improve next year, it’s possible he can make into a Saturday handicapper. Congratulations to owners Jack Stephenson and Mark Birkett who have been incredibly patient throughout his career.

We have some exciting syndicate options available:
I’ve teamed up with fellow Newmarket trainer and great friend Charlie Fellowes to form a unique partnership. I will train one horse and he will train the other, with the owners having an equal share in both. Not only will you enjoy the horses on the track but we will have yard visits and fun events.
I’m also launching a grey horse only syndicate in alliance with owner and friend Mike Lilley. It was very much a case of the chicken and the egg, we thought a lot about this over the summer but once I saw the Iffraaj filly out of Tequila Sunrise it made total sense to buy her and set up the syndicate.

TRAINER George Scott is ready to take the next step in his career with a move to Eve Lodge Stables next week.
Scott, 30, has enjoyed four successful years at Saffron House Stables and is now set to expand to an 80-box base that’s accompanied by excellent additional facilities.
Monday, September 23’s switch will not see Scott moving far – indeed Eve Lodge Stables is just a few hundred yards along the Hamilton Road from his current premises.
As well as his new base having more available stabling, it possesses an indoor ride, two horse-walkers, large turn-out paddocks and a treadmill. Eve Lodge also provides extensive on-site staff accommodation and owners’ facilites.
Scott said: “I am really excited by the opportunities that moving to Eve Lodge Stables will provide us. The facilities are fantastic and will give us every chance to progress further after four enjoyable years at Saffron House Stables.
“We have grown significantly since I saddled my first runner back in November 2015 and I look back fondly on many great days that we’ve had so far. James Garfield’s Group-race victories at two and three are the obvious high points, but we have enjoyed a lot of other great results, including international success in Dubai, Turkey and Qatar.
“We have been lucky enough to grow in those four years – hence the requirement to move to bigger premises with excellent facilities. The ambition now is to find more quality horses that can allow us to progress again. It’s a challenge that the team and I are keen to embrace and we will be working harder than ever to produce winners and give the best value to our owners.
“Over the coming weeks and months I will be busy at all the major sales trying to ensure that we build a promising team of horses for our first full season at Eve Lodge in 2020.”
Scott’s biggest victories to date were provided by the high-class colt James Garfield, who won the 2017 Mill Reef Stakes and the 2018 Greenham Stakes. Other high-profiles triumphs have been supplied by Another Batt, Concierge and Gilgamesh.

We’ve had very few runners over the last fortnight however they’ve all run well. Lyndon B won impressively at Sandown last week. He is a horse we have always held in high regard however he’s had to physically mature and learn to concentrate on the job in hand. It’s likely that he will now go to the Horses in Training sale. He would come highly recommended as I feel he is improving and unexposed. As I mentioned in my interview after the race he will be an ideal type for the Dubai Carnival.
We have a particularly busy weekend, with 5 runners on Saturday. I’m looking forward to running Reloaded as frustratingly he’s missed most of the season for Excel Racing & Keith Breen. He is a horse I have always liked. Raahy and Narak both run in handicap company for the first time and should be competitive.
I will also be donating any prize money I win to the Irish Pancreatic Cancer Trials Charity in support of Pat Smullen. Pat has been bravely fighting pancreatic cancer over the last year and has made a spectacular effort to raise money and awareness culminating in a “Legends” race this weekend at Leopardstown. Although Pat has not ridden me a winner under my own name, he was a fantastic friend to Lady Cecil & I at Warren Place and gave us a memorable day when winning on Western Reserve at the July meeting. It goes without saying that we send all of our love and support to him and his family and hope to see him soon.
