LIVIA THE EMPRESS WINNING REPORT
12th November 2020
Livia the Empress gained a deserved victory after a string of excellent efforts; under a cool ride from David Probert. She was well positioned early and travelled through the race smoothly, picking up in good style to win decisively by 31/2 lengths. She has a fantastic attitude and may well run under a penalty at Wolverhampton on Monday. Congratulations to her owners KHK Racing.

CHARLIE FELLOWES WINNING REPORT
9th November 2020
Charlie Fellowes completed a tremendously exciting hat-trick at Southwell on the 9th of November. He broke sharply and was in full command of the race throughout, giving stable apprentice Alex Jary his first winner. Charlie has improved physically and mentally all year and is likely to receive a handicap mark in the low 90’s. He’s incredibly durable and loves his racing; I see no reason why he can't progress into an exciting three-year-old sprinter. He has now gone for a short break at Jamie Lloyd’s Farwest Field Farm, after which he will be prepared for the All-weather championships.

CHARLIE FELLOWES WINNING REPORT
19th October 2020
Charlie Fellowes put in another dominant display at Wolverhampton on Monday night. He broke sharply from the stalls under William Buick and never looked like getting beat. This is the second time he’s devoured auction company and now looks set for a step up in grade. It’s possible we could travel to Chantilly on the 10th November for a listed race. He’s an exciting young sprinter.

CABLE NEWS WINNING REPORT
17th October 2020
Cable News put her experience to good use winning second time out at Catterick under Paul Mulrennan. She broke cleanly from the stalls and led from pillar to post under a confident ride. She’s only come to hand over the past few weeks implying there should be plenty of improvement over the winter. There’s plenty of stamina on her dam side, however Cable Bay has clearly injected some speed into her. We won’t see her again until the Spring.

SIMULATION THEORY WINNING REPORT
12th October 2020
Simulation Theory has always shown the ability to win races. However, he is a tall horse with plenty of developing to do so I thought it might come next year. I was therefore delighted to see him win so impressively at Yarmouth under Harry Bentley. He blew the start, but travelled strongly and soon asserted, winning going away for owner Emma Banks. He will now head out for a winter break. He’s very much a horse to look forward to in the spring.

MISS MULLIGAN WINNING REPORT
12th October 2020
Miss Mulligan got off the mark in good style under an excellent ride from Ben Curtis, she dropped back to a mile and showed her versatility in very deep ground at Windsor. She’s beautifully bred filly out of the good race mare Banimpire. She has a fantastic attitude and is no doubt up to winning again. Huge congratulations to the Hanburys who bred and own her. I’m sure she can be a progressive filly next year

STRONG POWER WINNING REPORT
9th October 2020
Strong Power put his best foot forward under a confident ride by Louis Steward to win comfortably over 6f at Kempton. He’s always worked nicely at home so it was lovely to see him win after a promising second at Leicester on his previous start. This will no doubt given him confidence moving forward.
CHARLIE FELLOWES WINNING REPORT
22nd September 2020
CHARLIE FELLOWES, ran out a 7 length winner after a string of placed efforts to win impressively under Paul Mulrennan at Beverley yesterday. He broke sharply and had the race wrapped up shortly after; in first-time check pieces. He’s a horse who’s always shown ability at home so it was lovely to see him translate that onto the track (ran to a Timeform 90+.) He’ll have grown in confidence and could run again this year. I’m sure he’ll improve over the winter making up into an exciting 3 year old handicapper.

JACK THE TRUTH WINNING REPORT
3rd September 2020
Stable favourite, Jack The Truth recorded his seventh career victory at Chelmsford last Thursday. He took full advantage of being drawn 1, travelling smoothly and never looking like being beaten under a strong ride from Callum Shepherd. Those that follow the yard know that on his day he’s a very effective sprinter and it was great to see him bounce back to form after a slow year. He will always hold a particularly special place here at Eve Lodge as he was the first yearling I purchased. As always owner Jack Stephenson was at Chelmsford to greet him into the winner’s enclosure. The handicapper has been a little harsh raising him 5lb however, he still qualifies for a 0-85 handicap; so will head back to Chelmsford on October 1st.

GREAT VIBES WINNING REPORT
15th August 2020
Great Vibes showed a fantastic attitude to win under Callum Shepherd on only her third start. This daughter of Showcasing, bred by the Gredley’s has improved for every run and looks a filly with a bright future. She travelled smoothly into the race and picked up well to win a competitive Newmarket Nursery. Having had three relatively quick races, we will give her a little time to get over her run before deciding on future plans.
She is particularly special to everyone at Eve Lodge, being the little sister of James Garfield. Whyzaat; her dam continues to be a leading light for Stetchworth and Middle Park stud.

SHOOT TO KILL WINNING REPORT
25th June 2020
Shoot to Kill certainly didn’t miss at Bath; running out an emphatic 4 ½ length winner under Callum Shepherd. Dropping back to the minimum trip with first time check pieces, he cruised through the race and had the rest of the field beaten at the halfway stage. It was a particularly pleasing victory as his owners Matt Bartram, David Kilburn & Ed Ware have been so patient, especially as this horse has been a little frustrating on more than one occasion. He’s clearly a horse that possess plenty of ability and I’m hoping getting his head in front can be a steppingstone to better things. He appreciated the fast ground and the unconventional track.

Winning Report Amazing News
20th June 2020
Amazing News put in an excellent run to win convincingly in a red-hot Newmarket handicap on Saturday. He’s a lovely big horse who has always shown plenty of ability, so it was nice to see him transfer that onto the track. Being lightly raced, he has plenty of scope for improvement and should have no problem stepping up to a mile in due course. He’s versatile when it comes to ground which leaves plenty of exciting options for him in the second half of the season. Congratulations to the Gredleys who bred him.

Winning Report Au Clair de Lune
14th June 2020
Au Clair de Lune put the experience of her first run to good use, travelling smoothly at Doncaster on Sunday to win by 4 lengths. She ran out an easy winner over a mile and half and looks sure to relish a step up in trip. Au Clair de Lune is out of the wonder mare Missunited, who will be fondly remembered for her tenacious attitude. This has certainly rubbed off on her daughter, who has been a thorough professional since joining us from her owner- breeders the Hutch family. I’ve no doubt this is the start of an exciting season for the Hutches.

SARVAN WINNING REPORT
7th June 2020
The long striding Sarvan went one better at Pontefract, winning convincingly from the well-regarded Chrystal Pegasus. Having always shown promise at two it was decided by his owners that we would save him for a three-year-old campaign and on. He has improved from race to race and clearly relished the trio. After three starts he’s bound to get a mark that will enable him to run at the big meetings with Glorious Goodwood next. Whatever he does this year he will improve upon in the and he is certainly an exciting horse for two huge supporters of the yard; Keith Breen and Chris Wright.

WEEKLY NEWS
20 Febuary 2020
I’m very pleased with the start we have made to 2020. From 8 runners we have had two winners and multiple placed horses. Yard favourite Jack the Truth won impressively at Lingfield on his seasonal debut. He is a particularly special horse to all of us, as he was the first horse to walk into the yard when I started training. He has now taken his tally to 6 wins and I have no doubt he can continue to improve and give his owner Jack Stephenson an enormous amount of enjoyment through 2020.

Winning Report Jack The Truth
15 February 2020
Jack the Truth made a winning seasonal debut, something he’s done in the past. He showed himself to be in good form after his break at home and produced a near career best under the excellent Andrea Atzeni, physically he continues to mature. I see no reason why he can’t continue on an upward curve throughout 2020.
