WASHED OUT AT THE BREEZE UPS
Newmarket has sprung into life with the Breezers in town and the extended three day Craven meeting. I have had an incredibly frustrating two days at Tattersalls, underbidding on five of the top ten lots. However, it was not meant to be and I am a great believer in fate. We will now move on to Doncaster and more likely Deauville to try and find the right horses.
Provided it is on, which looks highly unlikely, tomorrow see’s Hamelin step up in grade in the John Porter. Admittedly it’s a leap of faith but looks a substandard renewal, on what will be bottomless ground.
Dominate ran an excellent race finishing second on debut for us, he would have won in another stride. There's every chance we'lll get him out again quickly to make use of this miserable weather.
