EARLY SEASON 2-YEAR-OLDS
We had an exciting week introducing some of the two-year-olds into faster work. Willow Brook looks perhaps the most forward of them all; she’s a filly by Sepoy out of Portland River, a mare who stayed very well however this filly appears to have picked up some speed from her Sire. Amongst some of the other two-year-olds who have had their routines increased are sons of Society Rock, Casamento, Galileo, Havana Gold and Shamardal. I like to introduce them into faster work very steadily and therefore we still have a lot to learn about them. Perhaps more importantly there have been no bubbles burst as yet but an improvement in the weather would be a huge help all-round.
