PRIX DE LA FORET
James Garfield will now be aimed at the Prix de la Forét on Arc day. He has come out of Haydock in excellent form, clearly having been unsuited by the heavy ground. Although we're stepping back up to 7 furlongs, Longchamp has always been thought of as an 'easy 7' and I’m confident the track will suit him well.
In the meantime, we have a busy couple of weeks ahead starting with promising two year olds Reloaded, The Great Story and Concierge. Reloaded is a colt I’ve loved since day one. He was purchased from the Ascot breeze up sale and has been given a nice break since his slightly disappointing debut. He is a horse that shows plenty of natural speed, although I believe a mile will be his trip next season
The Great Story will be having his first run for us at Pontefract after an encouraging debut at Epsom a few months ago. He is a lovely big son of Sea the Moon who will handle some cut in the ground. Concierge will head to Haydock on Friday. With no luck in running on his last two starts he bids to get his season back on track.
