We had an exciting start of the week. With Lyndon B and Filles de Fleur both finishing second on debut.
Lyndon B is half-brother to multiple winners, including the admirable and talented Sovereign Debt. He is by Charm Spirit, who has made an exciting start to his career at stud. Lyndon B showed a likable attitude and a good turn off foot, only to be beaten by a horse with more experience. I fully expect him to improve from this and make up into a quality 3-year-old.
Filles de Fleur, missed the break but was able to pass all but one on her debut at Kempton on Monday night. She is bred and owned by Alan Watson & Brett Maylon, they have done a wonderful job raising her. She’s an unbelievably tough filly, that will continue to progress with experience and a possibly a step up in trip.
