I have to admit it’s been a very frustrating fortnight with lots of placed efforts. Leo Davinci, Flash Henry, Raahy and Crantock Bay have been particularly unfortunate, either to have been beaten on the line or simply bumped into a good horse. The main thing as a bunch, they continue to run well with some exciting prospects going forward.
Leo Davinci and Flash Henry bid to go one better in their respective races tomorrow. I’m especially hopeful that Flash Henry will make use of his experience at Goodwood. Moll Davis will run on Saturday, an opening mark of 72 could look lenient as the season progresses.
