What a difference a fortnight makes Leo Davinci, Jack The Truth, Raahy and Dragon Command have all won over the past couple of weeks. Leo Davinci has proved very effective now handicapping, he’s won and has been very unlucky not have won all three of his handicap starts.
Jack The Truth surprised me after a break winning really impressively at Newmarket. For whatever reason he seems to have grown up in the last couple of months and is not attacking his races like he has in the past. This has given him given him an opportunity to switch off, I very much hope that his new and improved attitude can see him climb back up the handicap.
Raahy is a horse with a huge potential, I’ve always held him in high regard and the drop back to 5 furlongs certainly did the trick. He has a few options, with the Molecomb at Glorious Goodwood being the most likely.
Dragon Command gave The Black Dragon syndicate their first winner with an impressive victory at Hamilton. He picked up £15,000 for his efforts and stamps himself as a horse to look forward too. He too could head to Goodwood en-route to the Sales race in Ireland.
Crantock Bay and Flash Henry have both gone down very narrowly in the same period of time. Crantock Bay is a winner waiting to happen and has clearly come back from an injury last year stronger than ever. I’m very hopeful that he will progress into a proper Saturday Handicapper later in the year.
